A wonderful, peaceful place with attentive staff, wonderful meal and a breakfast that lives up to the gourmet dinner.
Only the positive thing was the service. I am sorry but he food lacked the taste. Simple choice of products was a surprise on the bad size. At one point we thought the whole experience was just a Chefs joke.
We had the most incredible dinner here to celebrate a birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make sure it was incredibly special and memorable. Every member of our party said it was by far the best meal and dining experience that they have ever had. We were fortunate enough to dine in the private room where we enjoyed our first courses next to the fire and following courses at a beautiful table overlooking Annecy. The staff was absolutely delightful and entertaining and the food was stunning. Thank you so much to the entire group for making it such a beautiful and memorable evening!
What an absolutely perfect way to end or week long stay in the Annecy area. The restaurant was recommended by friends from NYC and we could not have been more impressed. We have dined at many Michelin restaurants around the globe. Clos Des Sens 3 stars is well deserved!
Nestled in the old part of Annecy, away from the hype of the touristic part of the city centre, this hotel is a peace haven. Everything is really well arranged, clean, and comfortable. Staff is very nice and friendly. We had a fire in our room that added to the overall romantic vibe. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed a luxurious getaway. About the restaurant, we loved it even more! The concept is great: it’s all about local products locally sourced. The chef is truly creative and makes beautiful innovative dishes with seasonal local ingredients. Words cannot do justice to the quality of the dinner we had. One would need to write a short novel to outline all the work, details and passion that go into the fantastically crafted dishes. We opted for the half-half alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink pairing and we highly recommend it. Service was also outstanding with very professional and knowledgeable staff.
